Graduates of the MIAGE program make important contributions in international public, nonprofit, and private sectors while being leaders in their communities. The MIAGE faculty and staff are here to help you obtain great jobs and meaningful internships. In addition to our assistance, we highly encourage our students to utilize the resources offered by the Univeristy of Utah's Career and Professional Development Center.
The MIAGE program now has its own Career and Professional Development advisor, Cathy Tingstrom, to help students with: general career planning, networking, resume and cover letter writing, internship and job search, prepping for interviews, negotiating salary, and more!
Cathy will be holding office hours exclusively for MPP, MPA, and MIAGE students!
Starting February 13, 2019 Cathy will be designating hours to solely help Public Affairs students. These hours will be every other Wednesday from 4:00-6:00PM in Gardner Commons, Suite 3050 (MIAGE Office). Meetings will be 30 minutes long and by appointment.
To schedule an appointment with Cathy visit the Ucareerpath portal at http://careers.utah.edu/.
Relevant job, fellowship, and internship positions are posted to the MIAGE Student page. Current students may request to join here.
